York train station (YRK) is less than 15 minutes walk away. You can take bus numbers 1 and 4 for easy access to the train station.
Shortcut to the station
You can take a shortcut to the train station through the station car park. This is signposted as a cycle entrance but it can also be used by pedestrians. The entrance is on Lowther Terrace.
The gate is unlocked from 5:30am to 10:30pm, although the gate is often open outside of these times.

Buses
Blossom Street bus stop is a five minute walk away. There are several bus stops along Holgate Road. Bus numbers 1 and 4 go to the City Centre.
Airport connections
York doesn’t have its own airport but Manchester, Newcastle and Leeds/Bradford airports are all within easy reach. There is a direct train from York train station (YRK) to Manchester Airport train station (MIA).
